working on ‘as you are’ was such an honour. such a different, yet beautiful experience the second time around with bgfc. getting to assist my uber talented teen director daria in producing this film, whilst also getting a behind the scenes look at the organisation side of things in bgfc was so fun. i just love movies, i love being in the company of talented people especially talented black women and girls. i’m so proud of team aya. we came for the gold!
